Transformers & Electric Motors:
The system basically consists of
- Impregnating Chamber
- Impregnating Liquid Storage Tank
- Vacuum Pump to remove air (create vacuum) from chamber and components before admitting liquid and
- Interconnecting piping for air, liquid etd.
A
customized system offered is having a round chamber with, easily open
able lid and swing bolts for ease of operation. A synthetic 'O' ring is
provided for sealing the chamber against leakage. The chamber also has
(a) Dial type vacuum gauge. (b) Air admittance valve. (c) Liquid valve
at the bottom. (d) Piping to the liquid tank.
The storage tank,
generally is of the same volume as that of chamber. It is provided with
(a) Drain valve (b) Level Indicator (if teasible) (c) Air breather cum
filling port.
The chamber is
mounted at higher level than storage tank. The liquid flows back by
gravity. The Vacuum Pump is mounted on the same frame for bigger
system. All interconnecting piping. Valves are provided with the system.
The optional,
tailored systems are provided with (a) light and sight glass on top lid
(b) Connection for pressurized Air (c) Air Compress sor (d) Heaters
with thermostat and interlocking for heating the chamber before liquid
is admitted. (e) Level indicator, if feasible (f) Trays to accommodate
special components (g) Moisture traps and vacuum line filter and
non-return valve.
The complete system
can also be tailored to have both. Impregnating and storage tanks be
used alternately. This enhances the productivity as the idle time is
eliminated and each chamber is under operation, any moment.
Further the total system is offered complete and ready to operate with self supporting stand piping and gauges.
